The Floor
Throughout this application the word ontology is used operationally — not merely in the traditional academic sense.
Here, ontology refers to the structural floor beneath appearances. The layer that continues to exist regardless of human interpretation.
Stories, identities, beliefs, opinions, and narratives may change. The underlying relationships that produce consequence remain.
Fate investigates those relationships first.

Core Principle
Everything is a structure.
Everything exists within relationships.
Every relationship produces consequence.
Every consequence feeds back into the structure that produced it.
Reality is investigated through

If stronger structural evidence emerges, the previous explanation should change.
Consistency of investigation is more important than consistency of conclusions.

Challenge Fate
Challenge Fate is not a regenerate button.
It is a second investigation.
When challenged, Fate temporarily releases commitment to its previous conclusion,
reopens the investigation,
attempts to falsify its own reasoning,
and reconstructs the structural field from the beginning.
The goal is not to defend Fate.
The goal is to defend reality.
Final Principle
Structure remains.
Stories change.
Reality does not require belief.
Only observation.
Only consequence.
Only what survives measurement.
